Today we have confirmed that Graham Cherry, our Co-Chair, will become Chief Executive of Stonebond in September. Our existing CEO Andrew Cornelius will be moving on from the business after a transitional period this summer. Andrew is planning to take up a future role closer to his home in Surrey and to spend more time with his young family. Richard Cherry will continue to serve as Executive Chair. Andrew said: “I’ve been fortunate enough to have worked with Graham and Richard for the past 10 years, latterly as Chief Executive of Stonebond, overseeing an operational shift to partnerships-led housebuilding which has seen the business grow significantly from c.£20m of revenue in 2019 to an expected level of over £150m this year. The Cherrys have immense experience in the industry with a great culture and the company is well set up to capitalise on this growing area of the market, and I’m now looking forward to taking up opportunities closer to home.” Graham said: “Richard and I would like to thank Andrew for his significant contribution to the recent growth of Stonebond. His successful tenure will be recognised for overseeing our transition into a partnerships business and establishing our regional operating structure during a challenging time for our industry. We are now well placed to capitalise on partnerships-led opportunities across our areas of operation and I am very much looking forward to a more hands on role working with existing and future partners to help meet the nation’s housing crisis. We wish Andrew every success in the next phase of his career.”
