You know what’s better than talking about inclusion? #inclusioninaction It makes such a difference when you can see the results of the work you do. Knowing the kids you impact with this seemingly small action are now 🌟motivated to come to school 🌟coming to school on time 🌟feeling like they belong 🌟smiling more often If only the corporate world worked the same way. If only Leaders could understand that seemingly small actions toward inclusion could have such a big impact on marginalized employees. If only Communities could understand the effects of removing barriers to equity on the people who are serviced by them. We can learn a lot from kids. If only we didn’t have to. Listening to older individuals with compassion and empathy is not only necessary but also a valuable and respectful way to connect with and support them. Older people often have a wealth of life experiences and wisdom to share, and by listening attentively and compassionately. It involves giving your full attention, being patient, and not interrupting. It's about creating a safe and nonjudgmental space where older individuals feel heard, valued, and respected.
