SINCE 2009: OUR COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINABILITY Nowadays the sustainability has become a priority for many companies that wish to reduce their environmental impact, becoming more virtuous and efficient. We at ScreenInt believed and invested in these objectives starting from 2009, focusing on the use of renewable energy sources. We have started a significant intervention on our production plant which saw the installation of photovoltaic panels on the entire roof of the premises. This allows us to be self-sufficient thanks to the energy produced by our photovoltaic system (around 63 kilowatts) which powers both the production facilities and the offices of our headquarters. But this is not everything! Within all departments, we are organized so that company production waste of paper, plastic, metals and PVC is collected separately to be totally recycled. This responsible waste management is one of the practices we are adopting thanks to the collaboration of our employees. For 2024, we aim to further reduce the use of energy, plastic and non-recyclable materials.

Renewable Packaging in Eco-Friendly Practices : Renewable packaging involves the utilization of materials derived from replenishable sources, emphasizing sustainability in the packaging industry. One prominent example is paper packaging, sourced from trees that can be replanted and harvested responsibly. Additionally, cardboard, often used for boxes and cartons, is another renewable option. Bioplastics represent a significant aspect of renewable packaging, crafted from organic materials like cornstarch or sugarcane. These alternatives aim to reduce reliance on traditional plastics derived from fossil fuels, mitigating environmental impact. Bioplastics are designed to be biodegradable or compostable, further aligning with eco-friendly practices. The concept of renewable packaging extends beyond material choices to include a lifecycle approach. This involves considerations for recycling infrastructure and end-of-life disposal. Many renewable packaging solutions promote recycling to reduce waste and conserve resources, aligning with circular economy principles. Overall, the adoption of renewable packaging reflects a broader commitment to environmentally conscious practices within the packaging industry, contributing to the global push for more sustainable and eco-friendly solutions.
