At the current rate, according to projections by the United Nations, it will take: 📉💔 300 years to end child marriage 📉💔286 years to close gender gaps in legal protection 📉💔140 years for equal female representation in leadership roles, 📉💔 47 years for parity in national parliaments. .... and the list continious. Celebrating Women's Day is more than acknowledging economic, cultural, and political advances of women; it's an individual call to action against gender biases, all-encompassing gender gaps, and the shattering of glass ceilings hindering women's aspirations👊 International Women's Day 2024 centers around inspiring inclusion. At Topsoe some of us reflected on what inclusion means to us. Inclusion, for me, is 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐫𝐮𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. Embracing diverse perspectives is not just listening to others but honestly valuing diverse opinions and promoting differing views. It's also about disruption: by promoting diverse perspective that lead to advancement and innovation. Happy day to my colleagues! Today on International Womens Day, I’ve been inspired to make a post not only to recognise the many important women that we have at Pelsis and the huge contribution made, but to also speak directly to men. Men hold most leadership positions across most sectors and so have considerable influence in shaping workplace cultures & policies. We are in a powerful position to affect change.   Gender equality needs men to step away from thinking it is enough to just not be part of the problem because they are a good guy who does the right thing - this leads to inaction and complacency. To show active engagement, self-reflection and a commitment to challenge and change systemic injustices we need to listen to women and BELIEVE them. We need to listen to their experiences in order to gain insights into the challenges they face (I wish to my ongoing pain I'd done this better with my own daughters earlier) and the urgency in which we need to focus on addressing systemic inequalities. We need men to encourage and enroll other men to do the same.

Happy International Women's Day! Inclusivity is a top priority at FlowForma. To achieve truly diverse representation in business and a positive work place, it is essential for men and women to act together to address ALL forms of discrimination and bias. And it's not just the 'big stuff' - it's also the harmful, thoughtless off hand comments which are often entirely unconscious and unintentional, yet nonetheless damaging. Awareness is key. To #InspireInclusion, please call out (in kind way) discriminatory remarks when you hear them and be aware of your own potential biases. #IWD #oneteam

On International Women’s Day we are celebrating all the fantastic women in Crouch Waterfall. In light of this years theme, inspiring inclusion, we are encouraging all to think and talk about how each individual has a role to play in creating an inclusive industry and breaking barriers.
