I have an #OPENTOWORK badge on my profile picture. Many people do. But are you currently unemployed or employed? If you are still employed, how would your current employer feel when they see this badge on your profile picture? How would a potential employer feel when they encounter you as an employed candidate, with this badge on? Just something to think about. #recruitment #jobopportunity #processsafety

I'm a little confused with peoples negative thoughts around the Linkedin 'Open to Work' banner. I seem to be having the same conversation regarding this banner - there is clearly a stigma surrounding the 'open to work' banner. If your available and don't need to keep your job search a secret... 💡 DO use the green 'open to work' badge! Let me tell you, when I spot that badge, I immediately click through to see how I can assist. When I am searching for candidates that badge gives you fantastic visibility! The more eyes on your profile, the greater your chances of stumbling upon that perfect opportunity. #OpenToWork #VisibilityMatters #CareerOpportunities #hrjobs

This is a fascinating account of how the #opentowork frame on LinkedIn became normalized during the pandemic. This is worth a listen if you are interested in a #userexperiencecasestudy that shows just how important it is to develop new products based on what users are already doing and saying they need. It's also worth a listen to get some #perspective on the value of the "open to work" frame. Although there has been a lot of discussion lately about how using the frame makes job seekers look desperate, it's important to remember that there's no shame in job searching. We've all been there, and when jobseekers need help, they should be able to ask for it. #noonesucceedsalone #togetherwecan #jobseekerssupport

Are you supporting an #opentowork badge? Are you having a difficult time navigating this employment landscape. This past week I have engaged in two prominent LinkedIn team members content. Fox Tucker asked his community "What's one thing you do to stand out on LinkedIn? & Gabriella Burst who was providing her followers "that little push" with her engaging content. My contribution in both instances was offering a complementary reviews of individuals LinkedIn profiles as part of my push and effort to stand out. Simply paying it forward. I thinks we refer to this as good karma. Helping someone get back to work, will in turn bring work my way. Alex Belov raised the question, How do I apply journey mapping methodology to someone's Linkedin profile. Simply, by leveraging one of two personas I provide insights that helps optimize profiles. (Demonstrated in the graphic below.) Remember your profile is a marketing tool and you're selling yourself to others. If your not optimizing for differentiation, you could be missing out. Connect and DM me to schedule yours.

🔥Coach, are your emails in Spam or Gmail Promo Tab? I've boosted clients' open rates by 21-76% by getting emails outta there. Founder of BirdSend email provider - 2.1+ billion emails sent. DM me "boost".
Don't use this "#opentowork" badge. I get that everyone’s always looking for clients & customers. Me too. But I personally wouldn’t use it. - Coz it screams “neediness” - And neediness kills salesz - Plus it attracts low-quality clients Clients who demand us to report to ‘em for using the loo. And who pay us peanuts. Instead of putting an “#opentowork“ badge, I’d just let my content do the talking. I’d do my regular social posts + daily emails to get clients & customers. Email’s my main bread & butter tho. Social can’t even compare. With an engaged list of email subscribers: — we don’t need to beg for work — we don’t need to chase after new followers — we don’t need to ask strangers for work all the time Plus, email subscribers are ours foreva. We have their email address foreva. Even if our social accounts get shut down, we still can contact them. Wanna build your own list of email subscribers? And not just any subs, but subs who actually buy your stuff instead of just sayin’ they love your newsletter? My new guide “How to build your first 1,000 ready-to-buy email subscribers” shows how in 3 simple steps. Say “guide” & I’ll send it over.

Amir Doorandish it's really as nice idea 💡 if we could have such badge on LinkedIn in my own contribution. 🔵#Opentohelp is a mindset or approach that seeks to offer assistance or support to others who may be in need. It involves being willing and available to lend a hand, share resources, or offer guidance without expecting anything in return. 🔵This attitude is often associated with a desire to make a positive impact on the world and help others achieve their goals. Open to help is about being empathetic, compassionate, generous, and non-judgmental. It can be demonstrated through acts of kindness, volunteering, mentoring, and simply being a good listener. 🔵The open to help approach can lead to greater happiness, fulfillment, and a stronger sense of building community. Thanks for sharing Amir Doorandish
