Today, to mark #WorldOceanDay, we’re releasing insights from a major ocean landscape audit which we conducted on behalf of The Nature Conservancy. Analysis of 40,000 media articles and 500,000 social posts was supplemented by in-depth interviews with some of the brightest minds in ocean protection.     With a surge in ocean-climate coverage over the last 12 months – driven by the Global Ocean Treaty and soaring interest in blue carbon – and the UN Ocean Conference on the horizon in 2025, this could be the ocean’s time to shine.    But human interest is fickle.
