Are you looking for a new Veterinary role? If so, JR has some Top Tips to help you find that perfect new position. 🕵️ Let’s face it – making the decision to change jobs is never an easy one. With numerous factors to consider and many things to weigh up, you need to take your time in exploring the options available to you. ⌛ 1) Take some time to sit down and think about what is really important to you and look at the reasons why you are looking for a new role. The most important question… WHY are you looking for that next exciting role? 🤔 Consider all options; What do you like and dislike most from your current role? What do you need from a new role? What are your values and what are you expecting from an employer? Talk it through with close family/friends to make sure you have considered all the options and how this will best look in the long term. 2) Once everything has been thoroughly considered and talked through, it is time to see what is available to you. ℹ️ Begin by looking on job boards and LinkedIn to see who is hiring and what sort of roles are available. Oh and by the way, this is where a Recruitment Consultant can really help you (trust us!). There are two ways this can work as a candidate, either you find a role advertised that you would like to apply for or, alternatively, you can give all the details you are looking for in a role and let the recruiter find roles that match up the criteria. Simples! 😀 3) Perfect your CV and make sure it shows skills, achievements and experience in the best way (as a recruiter we can also help with this). Remember to keep the format simple! (for detailed advice check out our tips here: https://lnkd.in/eZzUmk3y) Be selective in your applications and keep in mind the reasons for looking at a new role, the core values and requirements you are after. It is always a big decision to change jobs and move into something new, but by sticking to these tips you will be glad you did. ✔️ As ever, please contact us at JR Veterinary if you would like any help or advice on veterinary work as we will be more than happy to talk things through with you. 👍 #veterinaryjobs #veterinarycareers #Veterinary #veterinaryrecruitment #veterinarywork
