I built a $100M business and sold it for $419M. Now I’m building a portfolio of companies and sharing my journey to help entrepreneurs grow.

True story. I used to be a raw food vegan. Now I enjoy eating meat, seafood and dairy. I didn’t own a TV for 9 years. Now a love a good Netflix binge. I stopped drinking alcohol for over a decade. Now I’m stoked to sip a Chianti or a cocktail. And here’s the thing… I am as healthy and as happy as I’ve ever been. My real point is: We have to give ourself permission to change. To evolve. To explore what truly makes us fulfilled, For the season of life that we are in. Sticking to old rules and rigid beliefs can limit our growth. Better to embrace change. And allow ourself the freedom to be who we want to be. Because there is no perfect in life. Our journey is uniquely ours. ❤️

Health is a journey. We have to figure out what works and doesn't work for us. I almost became a vegan too until I decided to do research and gather data from all sides of the story. Veganism is intriguing but I was very suspicious because a lot of it doesn't make sense. I've been studying nutrition science and biohacking for 10 years before officially becoming a holistic nutritionist to heal my gut in 2021. I am definitely going to be an omnivore for life. 🙏

That's the way my man. BALANCE. It's the key to success in this life and certainly in my line of work. The keto and carnivore zealots just don't get it at all :)

Love the mindset of endless growth Mike. Definitely takes time to develop that but once you do it’s incredible how you just want to keep getting better and moving forward. Can’t be stuck as the same person your whole life.

A very fit naturopath once told me there is such as thing as "too much discipline" which can lead to burnout. At the time I was doing weights 4x a week, kickboxing 2x, yoga 4x, and 4 x professional bellydance shows week plus tracking every calorie and running a high performance sales job lol. My car was always packed with 2 sets of gear 😅She was right - I got to a point where I could not stand any further calendar appointments and lightly tore an MCL. I feel giving permission to have some flexibility creates a sense of richness and freedom which is actually a great way to support the nervous system and relax and have sustained performance!!

Love this Mike Fata! A lot of people push the message of living in extremes. It’s not binary, because when it is it often lead to burnout, or life becomes monotonous. Everyone needs to find their balance, just like you have.🙌🏽

Awesome work! The dynamics of life revolves around change but most people are likely to be resistant! Change can occur in positive dimensions and our old lifestyle could be just a story. Thanks for sharing with interesting view
