How many people think Atlanta is full? We had more than twice the number of people per square mile 80 years ago. Fun fact, we barely have as many people per square mile today as Houston. Why? 1) Zoning 2) The need for more transportation investment. Why is it hard to come up with transportation dollars? How about a low-density development pattern that doesn't generate enough revenues to cover basic services and long-term capital investments?

Founder of Entry Envy and Hammers & Flip Flops | Delivering fabulous first impressions with personalized porch signs and subscription faux floral decor | Passionate about women in trades
From our humble beginnings in my home two years ago to recently securing a new location around Millwork Commons and the NEW NORTH MAKERHOOD, our growth story is a testament to resilience, invaluable mentorship, and a robust support system. Thank you to Jeanette Weber for all of your assistance and the philanthropists and investors supporting the rehabilitation of the area. Entry Envy is overjoyed to be a part of it. The video below is a 2 minute time lapse of our renovated space. It's still a bit of a work in process, but I am darn proud of what we accomplished on a shoestring budget! I chose to do the project myself for the following reasons: 1) We’re still a “scrappy startup,” and investing in advertising and operations takes precedence over hiring contractors. 2) Because I can. 3) Engaging in construction projects offers me priceless productive mind time — space for creative and strategic thought. IYKYK. 4) There's an undeniable pleasure in the immediate satisfaction from accomplishing tangible projects. So much of our daily business operations span weeks and months to yield measurable results. Hand me a gallon of paint and a brush, and voilà! Muhammed Ali said, "If your dreams don't scare you, they aren't big enough." I'm terrified everyday and at the same time, and I can't wait. Cheers to two years, new spaces, big dreams, and the next chapter! https://lnkd.in/gN6gdnNv

Our Executive Teams has been such a gift to us as we pursue growth. They've modeled the importance of adaptation in the growth process in VERY practical ways. Like...a few of our execs working out of a loading dock for a season. Shoutout to Andrew Wright, Silas Hathaway, and Mr. Mop Bucket for holding it down while we finished the build out of our new office location at Fisher Road, East Syracuse. Thanks to each of our team members for how they gracefully handled (and even celebrated) the inconvenience that came with working in tight quarters. We're now fully moved in and LOVING it. __________________ Two Bonus Thoughts - First - Growth is one of the hardest AND most natural things we were created to do. It's important for the right things to grow in the right direction. Second - One of the values we embraced early on as a team was that TRUTH matters over TITLE. A big title doesn't make a bad idea, better. Pass that on... 😜 #realestate #commercialrealestate #syracuse #syracuseny #commercial #industrial #industrialrealestate

Makes perfect sense. It is small at 102,000 SF and in a fast growing suburban hub. As to "spec", that's what DFW does and it is difficult to pre-lease (i.e., leasing before ground breaking) buildings this small because they often appeal to full-building users, luckily the risk is mitigated to an extent given the project's small size...
