While June 28 is officially “Pride Day,” the LGBTQ community and allies celebrate the entire month of June, striving for awareness, acceptance and legal protections for the LGBTQ community. Over the past 50 years, this movement has gained immense traction, bringing LGBTQ issues to the forefront of the nation’s mind.
