This course has opened my eyes to the incredible potential of AI in design. Here are some key takeaways: Leveraging AI for ideation: I've learned how to use generative AI tools to spark creativity, develop new concepts, and expand my design thinking. Enhancing productivity: AI can significantly speed up daily tasks, allowing me to focus more on strategic and creative aspects of design. Crafting effective prompts: The art of writing clear, specific prompts is crucial for getting the desired output from AI tools – a skill I'll be applying to various design tasks like summarizing user research or generating taglines. Responsible AI usage: Understanding potential biases and ethical considerations in AI is essential for creating inclusive and fair designs. Staying ahead of the curve: I've developed strategies to keep up with the rapidly evolving AI landscape, ensuring my skills remain cutting-edge. I'm thrilled to integrate these new skills into my UI/UX design process, combining human creativity with AI capabilities to deliver more innovative and efficient solutions for my clients. Read this interesting research paper suggesting that AI systems that lead with questions (rather than making prescriptive statements) are better at broadening the human reasoning process and critical thinking capabilities. Not surprising actually. Asking smart questions is being taught as a soft-skill in every product management, consulting and leadership since time immemorial. Funny part is that it might be easier to teach this skill to the machines with some prompt engineering as compared to humans changing their social styles. Recommended read for Product managers, UX designers and AI solution owners building immersive copilots - especially in the learning and education industry.

Founder, Perfetti Media | Breakthrough product strategy and customer insights | Product and UX training | Community events for product teams
On June 11th and June 18th from 12 - 2:30 Eastern Time, Andrew Duchon and I will teach a two-day training cohort to help UX professionals jumpstart their journey into the world of Generative AI and Large Language Models. User researchers and designers are well positioned to conduct internal studies to understand the impact of AI tools for their organizations. By understanding each team's use cases, they can guide the conversation about when to use AI and when it presents risks. Before providing recommendations and guardrails for your teams, it's essential to immerse yourself in the tools to gain an understanding of what's possible with AI. In the course, we'll walk you through some of the most promising UX research use cases to leverage AI, and where we avoid AI altogether. I hope you can join us! Last year, Figjam introduced AI to make product designers create design flows seamlessly. I found the introduction of AI fascinating and I wanted to know more about how I could effectively use AI to make my work easier. However figuring out how to use Figjam AI was a bit difficult, there were no videos online that could help me out, unfortunately. So I invested time trying to solve my problem of effectively using AI to create a flowchart. After carrying out research and execution, I was able to crack it and use the AI perfectly. I created this video as a guide to help other designers who may be experiencing same difficulty. Hope this helps you effectively use AI to create design flowcharts. #uiuxdesign #uxtips #uxresearch #productdesign

🚀 The rabbit has launched! 🚀 Over 2K people have already explored our first AI publication on "Intro to RAG and UX." What is RAG? RAG, or Retrieval Augmented Generation, combines retrieval-based and generative AI models to enhance LLM responses with accurate, up-to-date information. What are the use cases for RAG? 1. Customer Support Chatbots: Provide accurate, real-time answers from internal knowledge bases. 2. E-commerce: Create personalized product descriptions and user-specific recommendations. 3. Medical Assistants: Assist healthcare professionals with precise information from medical databases. 3. Financial Analysis: Support analysts with insights from current market data and financial reports. 4. Employee Training: Offer contextual, step-by-step guidance from technical manuals and training resources. Why is RAG important for UX professionals? RAG helps create more reliable and personalized user experiences, reducing the risk of misinformation and enhancing the overall effectiveness of AI-driven solutions. Curious about implementing RAG in your projects? Check the full post in the comment and follow the white rabbit publication (named the AI Experince Hub for now).

Solutions Architect | Document Intelligence & AI Vision Solutions | Generative AI Evangelist | Data Engineering and Analytics | Software Engineer For Life
If you contemplate how Generative AI is already being incorporated into UX/UI workloads, your perspective on the urgency to learn Generative AI and prompt engineering should go through a 360 when you compare that with skills that 30 years ago gave a professional an edge 1. Navigating the internet with ease through a web browser 2. Mastery of Word and Spreadsheet software Will all future marketing jobs require prompt engineering as a skills as new content, images, strategies would need to be present to internal and external customers? Will HR need to master prompt engineer in order to cater messages to the psychographics of the employees they serve? The difference between another interview candidate and you might simply be you having spent time learning Generative AI https://lnkd.in/gfRDzxwn #generatieveai #aiandml #thefutureisnow #deeplearning
