"There is a science of getting rich. It is an exact science, like algebra or arithmetic. There are certain laws which govern the process of acquiring riches. When a woman learns and obeys these laws, she will get rich with mathematical certainty." -Wallace D. Wattles Join us in discovering and discussing the principles in this life-changing book so that you can become rich with "mathematical certainty."

Take on the challenge... Are you willing to embrace challenges with joy, or do you give up at the beginning of the journey? Pi Day is an annual celebration of the mathematical constant π , which represents the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter. It is observed on March 14th, since the first three digits of π are 3.14. Pi Day is often marked by mathematical activities, discussions about pi, eating pie, and various educational events to promote interest in mathematics and science. Congratulations to TNA alumnus, Thomas Johnson ‘23, for having his Senior Seminar paper, “The Effect of Financial and Food-based Incentives on Math Test Performance" published in the Journal of Emerging Investigators. Getting a paper published by JEI is no small feat! Hundreds papers are submitted every year from all around the world, and only a fraction of these make their way through the entire peer review process. Check out the paper here: https://lnkd.in/eYMED9ut

Drumbeats. Billiards on a round table. They might not appear to have much in common, but mathematician Vadim Kaloshin at ISTA uses these ideas interchangeably to explore an array of intriguing questions. Now, he has received a best paper award for his work in this area. But how does beating a drum help prove a hundred-year-old conjecture about billiards? And how does mathematics reveal the deep connections between these seemingly disparate notions? Learn more about his award-winning work here 👉 https://bit.ly/473d12G

🐣✨ Easter is just around the corner, and Eggyegg thinks the date of Easter is early in 2024. Have you ever wondered how to work out the date? It's tricky maths, but I've simplified it for you! Here's a quick guide: 1️⃣ Divide the year number by 19. For instance: 2024 ÷ 19 = 106.53 (round down to 106) 2️⃣ Multiply the number obtained by 19. In our example: 106 x 19 = 2014 3️⃣ Subtract the result from Step 2 from the year number. Continuing with 2024: 2024 - 2014 = 10 4️⃣ Add 1 to the result. Still with 2024: 10 + 1 = 11 5️⃣ Look up the 'Golden Number' in the provided table. In 2024, our 'Golden Number' is 11. 6️⃣ The 'Golden Number' corresponds to a specific date. In 2024, Easter falls on the first Sunday after this date. So, in 2024, Easter lands on the 31st of March! Quiz: What will be the date of Easter in 2025? (Answer: You can apply the same steps to find out!) For more information and interesting content, visit https://lnkd.in/driNu5p3.
