You may not want to be buried in a Pringles tube, but are your family aware of your wishes for your estate? The team at Vanmark Group can guide you through the process of estate planning, from the simplest to the most complex of circumstances. Simon Parsons
STRANGE WILLS FROM HISTORY'S RICH AND FAMOUS Fredric Baur (creator of Pringles crisps) Baur was a chemist from Ohio who invented freeze dried ice cream and most famously the iconic design of the Pringles can and crisps. He developed the uniform stackable shape of the crisp and packaging in order to prevent the contents breaking or turning stale in the tube. Pringles went on to be one of Proctor & Gamble’s highest earners and today has annual sales of over $1 billion. Baur saw the invention of Pringles as his proudest accomplishment and in 2008 in accordance with his wishes his ashes were buried in a Pringles can. Coming to terms with the loss of a loved one is difficult enough without the added stress the administration of the estate. Our team aim to smoothly guide you through the most complex or simplest estate. #willsandprobate #estateplanning https://www.vanmarkep.com/

https://phillygoat.com/ Phillygoat: Hi Everyone, We've decided to make a slight pivot in our business strategy and wanted you to hear it from us first. From now on, instead of selling Philadelphia-related products we will now only sell Cheyenne, WY related merch. I know this likely comes as a surprise, but we've given it a few hours of thought and we really think this is the right move for us. (Less competition, better tax brakes, etc. - you get it). Before you get upset, there's plenty to like about Wyoming. I mean what other state sounds like a present participle??' As a result of this pivot, we have a ton of Philly-related product inventory that we desperately need to move so that we don't keep incurring these monthly warehousing fees. So today, we're offering a $4.01 discount on all Philly-related merch. Simply enter code "CHEYENNE" at checkout. Go Wyoming Knights, Ryan "Wyoming... More Like WHY-NOT-OMING, Amiright?!?!" Cassidy and everyone else at Cheyenne Goat (formerly Phillygoat) 20 % Discount Code = WONKA

Helping clients with business valuation, commercial damage analysis, fraud investigation & shareholder disputes
Here's a David vs Goliath story if ever I saw one. In the 1950s, Whataburger began operations in Texas and What-A-Burger opened in North Carolina. Whataburger, now owned by a dreaded private equity firm expanded to about 1,000 outlets with roughly $3 billion in revenue. Over the years, What-A-Burger opened a number of different outlets in the southeast, tacking on a number for each new entity. Some are owned by different branches of the founding family; some have been sold to third parties. This dispute involves What-A-Burger #13 and its two locations. For years, Whataburger and What-A-Burger had an agreement that seemed to have kept the companies out of each other's hair. Now Whataburger wants to move into the neighborhood and get What-A-Burger out of its way. Whataburger claims it is not trying to shut down the long established local business ... it just wants What-A-Burger to change the name they've been using for 55 years. To hell with What-A-Burger's #intangible #value. To hell with its established brand. Whataburger is big and bad and wants to own the region. This should be an interesting battle. (One it lost, btw, in 2002 with an unrelated Virginia based What-A-Burger.) Personally, I can think of a number of ways to resolve it without years of #litigation, but I'm sure neither side's lawyers want my opinion. #businessvaluation #intellectualproperty #trademark

Buc-ee's Holdings, Inc., known as Buc-ee's, is an American chain of country stores, gas stations, and electric vehicle chargers created and owned by Arch "Beaver" Aplin III. Buc-ee's turned a mundane billboard concept into a dynamic tool for engaging their audience. The strategic use of size, placement, branding, urgency, and community engagement has transformed these roadside advertisements into an integral part of the Buc-ee's experience. There’s a craze around Buc-ee’s in the south. And it’s due to the experience, marketing and product they have designed and built. Buc-ee's is known for food, shopping, big and clean bathrooms. Buc-ee's fans love the food. You can order Texas-style barbecue offerings like brisket sandwiches, turkey, sausage and pulled pork. Others love the beaver nuggets, fudge (made in-house) and beef jerky. Buc-ee's, Ltd. should start a bank. And if you’re in #marketing you can learn from them. #brand #communitybanking #fintech

♦ Revenue leader and executive @ EdgePetrol ♦ SaaS fanatic ♦ Helping independent fuel retailers optimise their stations ♦
UK retailers may not have heard of Buc-ee's 🦫 🇺🇲 It's one of the most revered convenience chains in America with an incredible brand and cult following. So what exactly are they doing so well? ✅ 1️⃣ Getting the basics right When the first Buc-cee's opened in 1982, it was basically just another petrol station. But what set them apart was their focus - "Clean, friendly and in stock." 🧹🤝📦 2️⃣ Expansion Following this motto gave them the ability to expand, and in 2006 they decided to ramp it up a notch, expanding one of their locations to 17,000 square feet. They soon realised they can be more than just a fuel stop, selling clothing, fishing gear, and hosting live music. 🎸 3️⃣ Amazing food. Like, really amazing. Their stores now offer iconic snacks like Beaver Nuggets (seriously, you just cannot stop eating them). They have 13 types of own-brand jerky on sale. Their fresh BBQ isn't just tasty, but comes with a whole lot of theatre as the team shouts "Fresh hot brisket on the board!" 🐄 4️⃣ A cult following The cult following of the brand is everywhere to be seen in-store. Branded jumpers, t-shirts, toys. You name it they've got it. I picked up a funky pair of socks and a couple of cuddly beavers for the kids. These offers turns strong profit when margins at the pump can be tight. Forbes estimates that Buc-ee's profit margins on their own-branded goods are as much as 40%. 💵 So, if you're ever in Texas, it really is worth going out your way to visit a Buc-ee's, Ltd. #Buccees #RetailInspiration #RetailSuccess #Texas

Jimmy Johns (purveyor of fine sandwiches) down with the Oracle of Omaha's sagacity. Wee bit of bonus wisdom up top too. Jimmy Johns: 1983: began as a hot dog stand in Illinois, quickly pivoted to sandwiches. 1986: second location opened. 2007: 500+ locations, founder sold a one-third stake to PE firm, Western Presidio. 2019: some 3,000 locations, generating some $3B in sales per year, sold to Inspire Brands for undisclosed sum. #investments #exitstory #life #exitplanning
