In the bustling realm of corporate culture, core values are key, and here are two of our core value "power players" that stand out in this post I am sharing: ✅Service and ✅Making a Difference. These aren't just buzzwords; they're the heartbeat of what makes a workplace different. How? ✅Service Business is about serving clients, but it can also include a commitment to serving communities. Embracing service as a core value means going beyond the transactional and entering the transformational. ✅ Making a Difference When giving back is woven into your corporate DNA, your organization becomes a force of positive change. That feels good 👍🏻. X-Caliber , X-Caliber Rural Capital, and CastleGreen Finance recently came together to help Open Door Family Medical Center. The team hosted a Baby Bundle and collected dozens of items for new parents in need. Why does a giving culture work in a company? 👍🏻It creates a Unified Purpose 👍🏻It supports Employee Fulfillment 👍🏻It s shapes Positive Culture Every act of service and commitment to making a difference extends beyond office walls and away from laptops and spreads into communities where we lend. That's a good thing! That's making an impact. Learn more about our corporate efforts and the work of X-Caliber's Charity Crusaders in the link in the comments section. If you work for a company that does good things, I would love to hear about your core values and what makes your workplace different. #doinggood #positiveculture #corporateculture #givingback
The X-Caliber , CastleGreen Finance, and X-Caliber Rural Capital teams recently held a fundraiser for the Open Door Medical Center, hosting a Baby Bundle drive to support members of the program who are new parents. At Open Door, midwives deliver over 400 babies a year, and many of the new moms and their partners are facing significant financial, housing, food supply, and other challenges. To support some of the new parents in need, the X-Caliber Charity Crusaders collected dozens of diapers, onesies, blankets, and other items for the program that supports Westchester and Putnam counties in New York. Our own Clementine Whitney and Sharon Callahan helped coordinate the items and deliver them to the center. Two of X-Caliber’s core values are service and making a difference, and the company hosts several fundraisers a year for different organizations across the country. For more information on ways to help Open Door, click here. https://hubs.li/Q01-_7CB0 Congratulations Crusaders on another great fundraiser. Every effort helps make a positive impact on the lives of others. Open Door Family Medical Center #givingback #service #xcaliber #castlegreenfinance #xcaliberruralcapital

National Diaper Need Awareness Week is September 18 – 24, 2023, and draws attention to the issue of diaper need in the U.S. A signature initiative of the National Diaper Bank Network launched in 2012, the National Diaper Need Awareness Week provides individuals, organizations, communities, and elected officials the opportunity to engage in real talk and simple actions. By working together we can ensure that all babies have access to clean diapers and other basic necessities required for them to thrive and reach their full potential. One in two U.S. families struggles to provide enough diapers to keep a baby or toddler clean, dry, and healthy. Here are a few things you can do to participate: - Host a diaper drive and donate to your favorite nonprofit organization, such as The Treehouse. - The Treehouse is always in need of size 4, 5 and 6 diapers. - Request proclamations from elected officials. - Engage in Real Talk on social media via #EndDiaperNeed and #BasicsArentBasic - Make a donation to NDBN and/or a local diaper program.

Today kicks off our fundraiser for Floating Doctors 🩺 In 2022, Floating Doctors welcomed 258 volunteers from 38 countries. Help support their mission of building a permanent, sustainable rural health service and community development assistance program in Panama. LEARN MORE! Throughout August, September and October, donations made to Parasites Without Borders (PWB) will be matched by the organization and donated to Floating Doctors with a minimum pledged donation of $10,000 and a total gift of up to $20,000 for Floating Doctors. Over 80% of the world’s population lives within 5 miles of a coast, but far too many communities still live in remote poverty without access to basic health care. Poorly charted waters and rugged terrain, political factors, social disenfranchisement, poor health knowledge, poverty and lack of infrastructure separate these communities from care. The Floating Doctors medical team was formed to answer these challenges to accessing health care. Founded in 2011, Floating Doctors is a nonprofit organization that has been building a permanent, sustainable rural health service and community development assistance program in Panama. They deploy mobile clinics by boat, packhorse or on foot to remote underserved areas, where they conduct ongoing health services and community development projects. Floating Doctors programs cover thousands of square miles of jungle-covered mountain and mangrove mazes in which we are often the only medical, dental or veterinary service available. ❤️ https://lnkd.in/eczQ9ZB

When you support Christopher's Kitchen, you're helping families get a basic need taken care of - food. When families are in the hospital, or when there are children at the Child Advocacy Center getting help, the last thing they should worry about is where their next meal will come from. With big decisions to make and heavy emotions to carry, something as simple as a meal or snack can help them carry on. #ChristophersKitchen #Charity #Nonprofit #UPMCChildrensHospital #Pittsburgh #FoodPantry #Volunteer #GivingBack #Donate #FamilySupport #ChildhoodIllness #CommunityService #HelpOthers #Philanthropy #ChildHealth #ChildhoodCancer #PediatricHospital #ChildrensCharity #HospitalSupport #FoodBank #GiveHope #KidsHealth #FamilyCare #PittsburghCharity #ChildLife #ChildrensHospital #HealthyEating #ChildhoodDisease #FoodDonation #SupportLocalCharities

This Giving Tuesday, we invite you to join us and double the impact as we work to end diaper insecurity in Hunterdon County. Through the generosity of a board member at United Way of Hunterdon County, we have been challenged to match their gift of $1000, the estimated cost of a one-year supply of diapers for one child. Every $25 donated ensures we have 60 more diapers to distribute to the community. Together, we can double our impact by providing diapers for families in need within Hunterdon County. If you would like to contribute, please donate here: https://ow.ly/cP2G50QbFoZ What is diaper insecurity? It is the inability to provide a sufficient supply of diapers to keep a baby clean, dry and healthy. According to data collected by United for ALICE, 317 children under the age of two in Hunterdon County are living in a household facing this challenge. These families are faced with difficult choices as they navigate how to afford the basics of housing, food, childcare, health care, technology, and transportation. Based on the National Diaper Bank Study of Diaper Insecurity, Health and Economic Mobility in the U.S., receiving diapers allows families to work, attend school, reduce healthcare spending, and keep children healthier. #GivingTuesday #DiaperInsecurity #EndDiaperInsecurity #CommunitySupport #Donate #SupportFamilies #DoubleTheImpact #MatchingGift #HunterdonHygieneConnection #UnitedWay #UnitedWayOfHunterdonCounty #CommunityImpact #ALICE

Sometimes in the midst of trying to raise gowns, we forget how truly special it is to do what we do as a community. We have been the catalyst for change in hospitals! We created hospital gowns that allow kids to still be kids at a time when they deserve it most. We appreciate everyone who has contributed, spread the word, and offered words of support. Behind every gown is a child and at any moment it could be one of our own. When we know better, we must do better! 🙌 Your actions make a real difference in real time! Many children are still awaiting sponsors, and together we can help change their hospital stay. If you or your organization would like to get involved, we need all the support possible to help continue our movement. We are a small team making a big impact. Our short term goal: Raise 4,000 Brave Gowns by June 30th. Longer Goal: Raise 100K Brave Gowns by August 30th.
