Been getting a big response to my post yesterday about offering to apply for jobs at Scopely. Keep it coming! https://lnkd.in/g4jepmkC Keep this in mind: Scopely posts jobs all the time, like every week. Set a job alert on them (and anyone else for that matter) and keep checking. I am happy to apply you to more than 1 job as they come up. Also keep in mind: I didn't get my job at Scopely till after my 3 job I applied for and I interviewed off and on for a year till I finally landed my job (yes, that was a long time and a good chunk of it was my fault, but I did interview a lot). Though the first two jobs I interviewed for were a bit of a stretch and the final one (Technical Director) is more in my wheelhouse. Point is, keep trying.

Marketing Manager @ Hey Digital 💙 | Content Creation + thought leadership for B2B Brands to Attract Inbound Leads ⚡️
The job market is Chaotic right now. If you're in a job right now, I want you to truly feel grateful because this is the most uncertain time ever and you still were able to retain a job. If you're not in a job right now, I want you to not lose hope. Maybe try new techniques like reaching out to the recruiter personally. Don't just apply, also look for suitable references etc. Just don't lose hope, it might not look like there's a road in this sea of rejections.. I'm confident if you just keep going, you'll find yourself choosing between multiple companies that want to hire you! For example: Check out Cassie Moreno's posts. She shared her journey, on how she got her dream job. She kept posting on LinkedIn and helped others that's how she got it. You too can start posting and showcase your skills. You got this ❤️

Job offer accepted ✅ I’m employed again! 🥳 I can’t wait to share more in the coming days about the role & the company! I received two competitive offers 10 weeks after I quit my job… Here’s a breakdown 👇🏼 - 194 job applications submitted - 83 rejections - 101 non responses - 11 companies I interviewed with (1 was not a fit for me so I pulled out of the process; 1 sourced me through LinkedIn so I went straight to the interview, bypassing the application process) - 3 final rounds - 2 offers It’s a huge honor to receive two competitive offers (from GREAT companies, might I add) in any market, but I’m aware of how fortunate I am in this market to have been in that position. There are plenty of fantastic & qualified candidates out there who are doing all the right things and have still been job searching for 6-12 months (or longer). The ONE thing that I hope you take away from this: Things can change extremely quickly. If you’re anything like me, you can go from zero opportunities to two in a matter of two weeks. Keep the faith. I believe in you. And I’m here if you need an intro or some encouragement! Can’t wait to share more about this new chapter of my career!

I help corporate professionals ADVANCE their careers by removing HIDDEN blocks keeping them STUCK! | Podcast Host | Published Author | Speaker | 1 Cor 15:58
You know what doesn’t work? Sitting behind a screen applying to jobs. There. I said it. A very large majority of job seekers are relying on job boards to showcase who they should be. And the funny thing is, you all are seeing and applying to the same jobs! Didn’t God create you to be in His image and be like everyone else! Each company has problems to solve. It’s your job to figure out how YOU are the solution to those problems. And it starts with uncovering YOUR hidden obstacles. It’s not the company’s fault/problem. It’s YOU not having confidence in who YOU are Stop trying to be like everyone else and stop doing things the way everyone else is. That’s the easiest way to get laid off too, by the way. (I ain’t here to sugar coat y’all ✌🏻)

I make finding a job easy for newcomers and students in Canada | Employer Relations - Yorkville University
How long has it been since you started looking for a job? 3, 6, or 9 months? And its the same on repeat, am I right? - 1️⃣ Apply to a 100 jobs. 2️⃣ Get Rejected 100 times. 3️⃣ Then be sad for 5 minutes. 4️⃣ Apply to 100 more in anger and so on… Why not use your time differently? If you look at the skills employers are looking for nowadays, its all the same. The employers want to know how you used those skills. Yes, you have the experiences from past work, but what about the job search period, are you still utilizing those skills?
