The corporate world loves to joke about #Marketing and #Sales hating each other. Ok, maybe HATE is a strong word... But we've all seen posts about the two departments not agreeing with one another 🤷♀️ After observing over 100 organizations' team structures and strengths/challenges I can tell you that it is CRITICAL for Marketing and Sales to be on the same page. Companies that I've worked with whose Sales and Marketing departments are misaligned, tend to struggle more than orgs with Sales and Marketing teams that partner together. First, let's GET RID of the idea that Sales and Marketing are playing on different teams. Everyone needs to work together to share unified messaging with customers. If there is misalignment between departments, HOW can you work together to drive success?
