Voices of Hope Documentary Series

Maine Public Television
Tuesday evenings at 9:00 pm

Voices of Hope episodes, originally aired on Maine Public in 2022, are being rebroadcast through March, 2023.  Two new episodes, titled “Understanding Today’s Marijuana,” were added to the original series.

Voices of Hope is a documentary series aimed at reducing the stigma associated with substance use disorder, interviewing young people sharing their recovery stories. This documentary series was created for use in classrooms to facilitate conversations about the use of chemicals and their consequences. This in-depth documentary series dives into how substance use disorder is affecting lives across the state of Maine.

Maine Public’s broadcast of Voice of Hope has been made possible through the generous support of Kennebunk Savings, Crossroads and the Maine Medical Association Center for Quality Improvement.

Voices of Hope is a collaboration with the non-profit SEED program (Students Empowered to End Dependency) and the Scarborough Police Department.
