LONDON, U.K. -- The second week of the 2024 Wimbledon Championships gets underway on Sunday, with 32 singles players looking to punch their tickets to their respective quarterfinals.

SUNDAY, JULY 7

LADIES’ DRAW

  • (2) Coco Gauff vs. (19) Emma Navarro
  • (7) Jasmine Paolini vs. (12) Madison Keys
  • Lulu Sun vs. Emma Raducanu
  • Paula Badosa vs. Donna Vekic

Two huge matchups featuring Americans in the first part of the fourth round. Coco Gauff is hungry for her first Grand Slam on grass, but she will have to go through Emma Navarro, who has played extremely well so far. Also, Madison Keys is an underdog heading into Sunday, as she will face Jasmine Paolini who has yet to drop a set.

GENTLEMEN’S DRAW

  • (1) Jannik Sinner vs. (14) Ben Shelton
  • (3) Carlos Alcaraz vs. (16) Ugo Humbert
  • (5) Danil Medvedev vs. (10) Grigor Dimitrov
  • (12) Tommy Paul vs. Roberto Bautista

Carlos Alcaraz had all sorts of trouble in his third-round match, needing to back from 2-1 down to defeat Frances Tiafoe. However, the defending Wimbledon champion got through, but now faces another tough test in Ugo Humbert, who has shown some grit thus far.

The world No. 1, Jannik Sinner, is rearing to go for an entertaining clash with American Ben Shelton. However, Shelton has had to play multiple days in a row due to rain, and is coming off a five-set win over Denis Shapovalov on Saturday.

MONDAY, JULY 8

LADIES’ DRAW

  • (4) Elena Rybakina vs. (17) Anna Kalinskaya
  • (13) Jelena Ostapenko vs. Yulia Putintseva
  • (21) Elina Svitolina vs. Qng Xinyu
  • (11) Danielle Collins vs. (31) Barbora Krejcikova

Elena Rybakina is playing like the way she did when she took home her first major championship at the All England Club two years ago. The native of Kazakhstan has lost just one set so far, but she might her match when she takes on Anna Kalinskaya on Monday. Elina Svitolina is trying to find the form that took her to two Grand Slam semifinals last season, including here at Wimbledon.

GENTLEMEN’S DRAW

  • (2) Novak Djokovic vs. (15) Holger Rune
  • (4) Alexander Zverev vs. (13) Taylor Fritz
  • (9) Alex de Minaur vs. Arthur Fils
  • (25) Lorenzo Musetti vs. Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard

Alexander Zverev is doing his best to get over his grass-court woes. The German has played well early on, not dropping a set through three matches. Hot off his long run at the French Open, Alex de Minaur is hoping he can find some of that magic in London.
