Shark Week begins Sunday, July 7. Watch a whole week of Discovery specials for free with a Philo 7-day trial; and stream all Shark Week 2024 content on Max.
About:
Hosted by John Cena, Shark Week 2024 kicks off tonight at 8/7c with “Belly of the Beast: Bigger and Bloodier,” a documentary special covering EARL, a false whale with room for two divers who can then examine shark feeding from the closest possible viewpoint: inside the carcass. Up next, at 9 p.m. ET, is “Jaws vs Leviathan,” followed by “Makozilla” at 10 and “Sydney Harbor Shark Invasion” 11, all of which explore various shark behaviors and patterns in an effort to better understand them.
The annual event continues until Saturday, July 13, the night concluding with “Mothersharker: Hammer Time.” Per Discovery Channel, see the full schedule below. And stream Shark Week starting tonight, Sunday, June 7, on Philo, Max, Sling Blue, and DIRECTV Stream.
