Hello, I've been working on some projects to make some of my gear waterproof, I'm making a rain skirt and also working on making a backpack waterproof.

Nicole McLaughlin (previously) ensures she always has a snack at her fingertips—or stashed in a puffy vest or lining the top of her sandals. The former Reebok graphic designer creates upcycled clothing, footwear, and household items from pouches of gummy candy, old fleece jackets, and even inflated bags of popcorn. This haute mess was created in an effort to raise awareness about the massive amount of waste that is ending up in our oceans. All of these garments were made from litter that I picked up off the beaches of Los Angeles & Sydney, Australia. I teamed up with Photographer Lisa Bevis, hair stylist Nina Paskowitz & makeup artist Andrew Shulman.

American Trash challenges its artist to create fashion masterpieces by using non-traditional materials, such as toilet paper tubes, beer cans, film strips and more into wearable, eco-friendly designs.
