This is the found poem that I wrote using parts and pieces from A Streetcar Named Desire. I chose to use the theme of Desire and Destruction because I think that it is such an important part of the play. Blanche had been destroyed many times by the desire that she has for men and this ultimately led her to be put in an insane asylum by her sister Stella. This found poem tells a story of a woman who is involved in a romance that breaks her and drives her to insanity.
