Home — a bar and restaurant owned by poet and artist Genesis the Greykid and art curator Kren the Curator — has a variety of espresso martinis on its cocktail menu, but the most unique and also the most popular is the Wealth. A pistachio-flavored espresso martini made with tequila and Oreo cookies, the Wealth martini is an unusual take on a dessert drink, and it's fitting that such a creative concoction is the most-ordered cocktail at a bar owned by artists.

"We make this daily because we go through so much of it," general manager Ben Mavity says of the blend of pistachio nuts and tequila used as the base of the drink. "I don't like pistachio, but I think it's the perfect mix of sweet and espresso."

He says the fact that one rarely sees a similar drink elsewhere is probably part of its appeal.

"Tequila is a brand-new trend in the espresso martini world, but it works," Mavity says. "When you produce a good one, it spreads like wildfire. People see you bring one out, and they want to try it."

What you need:

1 ½ ounces pistachio tequila*

1 ounce pistachio syrup

1 ounce Oreo milk**

1 ½ ounces Sleepyhead espresso cold brew

3 espresso beans for garnish

*For the pistachio tequila:

Put equal parts pistachios and tequila into a blender and blend for 3 1/2 minutes.

**For the Oreo milk:

Scrape cream from gluten-free Oreos and discard. Add three cups of cookies (without cream) and blend with three cups of almond milk.

What you do:

1. Put pistachio tequila, pistachio syrup, Oreo milk and espresso cold brew into shaker with ice.

2. Shake vigorously for 20 seconds.

3. Double-strain into coupe glass.

4. Garnish with espresso beans.
