Fourth of July jump-starts
Independence Day is still a week and a half away, but the parties won't wait. Here's where to find some pre-Fourth fun.
› Dalton, Ga.: Pops in Burr Park starts at 6:30 p.m. June 28 in Burr Park, 101 S. Hamilton St. Events include live music by the Creative Arts Guild Chamber Orchestra and guest vocalists, Aint' Just Whistlin' Dixie Jazz Band, dancers of Ballet Dalton, a community kids choir, food vendors and a free children's craft area. › Just fireworks: The Chattanooga Lookouts have fireworks for all their Friday home games, including June 28 against the Rocket City Trash Pandas and July 5 against the Tennessee Smokies.
