Maria Teresa has been working in the field of payments and market infrastructures since 2007. After a decade at the World Bank, she joined the European Central Bank in 2018.
Maria Teresa participates in international standard setting and international fora and has undertaken numerous assessments of international standards in the area of payments and market infrastructures. Maria Teresa leads technical assistance projects on payments and fintech in several countries across World Bank regions.
