This includes conducting research to enhance our support for patients often prescribed complex treatments that need monitoring for efficacy and side effects. Recently, pharmacist Imogen Smith attended the The Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer (MASCC) annual meeting in Lille, France, and presented findings from a study on the real-world impact of the new breast cancer drug, sacituzumab govitecan (SG). The research highlighted that while dose reductions and treatment delays are common due to side effects, additional supportive care measures can help patients receive the full benefit of their treatment. Congratulations to Imogen and the other investigators for presenting this work on an international stage!
