Informing the way forward in Switzerland: how Distinguished Engineer, Jelena Laketić is leading the way. "I had the incredible opportunity to join the Shaping the Future of Zug’s Digital Ecosystem panel alongside my inspiring colleague Piritta van Rijn, Head of Product, Accounting, Tax & Practice, Thomson Reuters, Barry M. Dequanne, Director at International School of Zug and Luzern, and André Wicki, Mayor of Zug. "The discussion was expertly moderated by Madalina Manoiu EMBA IMD CIA CRMA, founder of Women In Digital Switzerland, Zug chapter. We engaged in a dynamic conversation, sharing life and career experiences and exploring how each of us is contributing to a more inclusive future where innovation, learning, knowledge, and diversity are seen as abundant opportunities. We also explored potential collaborations and how we can continue this journey together. "This event was a joint effort of Women at Thomson Reuters in Zug and Women In Digital Switzerland - Zug. With a community of 16,000 people across 8 chapters, Women In Digital Switzerland is making significant strides in advancing Women’s Opportunities in the Swiss Digital Economy, and it was inspiring to connect with such remarkable women. Combining their members with my Thomson Reuters colleagues led to a proactive audience and lively conversations. This event reminded me of the power of collective effort and belief—when focused and deliberate, it can move mountains." #WorkingAtTR #WomenInDigital #DistinguishedEngineer #DEatTR

It's time for our first #BeYouAtTR - Intern Edition of the summer! Meet Vedant, a Software Engineer Intern on our ONESOURCE team in Toronto. "As a #TRIntern, I appreciate the work-life balance that Thomson Reuters creates. The friendly work culture and efforts in planning memorable events provide ample opportunities to socialize and feel welcomed in the Toronto office. Working on the ONESOURCE Tax provision platform has been particularly rewarding, offering me numerous learning opportunities and a sense of achievement when I see my contributions reflected in the deployed software. What stands out most about my experience so far is the willingness of everyone at Thomson Reuters —whether it's another intern, a team member, or a manager—to offer support and answer questions. Such a supportive culture is rare, and I feel fortunate to be part of the Thomson Reuters community." #WorkingAtTR

#ThrowbackThursday to an inspiring volunteer event with the Global Volunteer Network team in Costa Rica! Earlier this year, our colleagues celebrated International Women's Day with the incredible women of Fundación Rahab, a Costa Rican non-profit dedicated to supporting victims of human trafficking and sexual exploitation. Our team participated in an enlightening awareness session highlighting the critical issue of modern slavery in Latin America. Together, we strive to raise awareness and offer support to those affected. A big thank you to the Global Volunteer Network team in Costa Rica for making such a positive impact in their community. #WorkingAtTR #CostaRica
