Primary duties:

  • You will responsible for developing visualizations for complex data sets
  • You will provide guidance to internal DEA associates, IT and business users on data visualization tools
  • You will define, document, develop and deliver analytics and UI/UX allowing the data to tell a story
  • You will support business partner(s) in setting up highly interactive frontends 
  • You must have familiarity with NLP and other advanced techniques to simplify interfaces
  • You will work across data analytics projects to provide support in data analytics methodology, processes and standards.
  • You will create and deliver user training.  
  • You will communication of visualization requirements to other DEA team members and on/off-shore contractors.
  • You will work closely with internal team members, on/off-shore contractors, and SBU business and IT associates to develop guiding principles and best practices for determining which BI tools will be needed for a particular information requirement.
  • You will design, deliver and optimize the BI tool set in all database architectures (e.g. ROLAP, MOLAP).    
  • You will establish process and participate in BI application design reviews.
  • You will develop an in depth understanding of DEA data for communication and support of business and SBU BI support.
  • You will work with the SBU counterparts to develop and manage roles and processes for ongoing user support and BI administration.
  • You will participate and assist in conducting User Group meetings   

 

Experience

  • You must have minimum of 8+ years work experience in Information Technology, including 3+ years in Business Intelligence is preferred.
  • You must have expertise in Data Warehouse concepts, methodology, and technology.
  • You must have working knowledge of Goodyear operational systems (e.g. SAP/R3) desired
  • You must have broad working knowledge of multiple business functions and processes; knowledgeable in current and possible future policies, practice, trends, technology, and information; understands and works with the organization's mission, operations, and structure.
