At Revive Battery, we mitigate the early death of lead-acid batteries and regenerate them 2-3 times for up to 90% of their original capacity. In the process, we reduce 3.5 tons of Co2 emissions per battery. Battery recycling is an emission-intensive chemical process that causes environmental damage and harms people engaging with it. Our cutting-edge technology rejuvenates batteries without damaging them, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and avoiding the need for energy-intensive recycling. Lead-acid batteries are integral to battery backup systems in solar and wind farms, telecom towers, and data centres. They are also used widely in cars, forklifts, banks and ATM systems. Since we are far from saying goodbye to lead-acid batteries, why not make the most of them, one battery at a time?

    The inevitable surge of EVs has, without a doubt, increased the demand for Lithium like there's no tomorrow! anything, but here’s the thing - the so-called “white gold” might get short in supply in the coming years! Global demand for Li-ion batteries is expected to soar over the next decade, with the number of GWh required increasing from about 700 GWh in 2022 to around 4.7 TWh by 2030. Naturally, the demand for lithium is going to skyrocket in the future powered by batteries. The predicted shortage of lithium is due to insufficient investments in new lithium sources in the past as the Electric Mobility sector creates an increasing demand for lithium. We might face a shortage of Lithium as soon as 2025. Amidst all of this, Battery Regeneration can be the game changer! The battery regeneration market is expected to grow substantially due to the rise in demand for batteries as well as the transition towards a circular economy. Environmental impact matters more with every passing day and battery regeneration is key in shaping up the battery industry for a greener future. While battery regeneration is commercially well-established for lead-acid batteries, it remains under development for Lithium-ion batteries. However, the materials of lithium-ion batteries can be regenerated for further use in the production of new batteries. With most talk being about Lithium batteries, what comes as a bit of a surprise is how the workhorse of the battery industry - lead-acid battery is hardly being spoken of. Lead-acid batteries can play a major role in the electric mobility sector as they are coming up to be a suitable fit for EV charging stations. Lead-acid batteries could store excess energy from the grid during low-demand periods and release the energy back to meet peak charging demands, thereby reducing strain on the grid.
