Hungry? How about a pizza, cooked to perfection in a hydrogen-powered stone oven? 🍕 Toyota and Rinnai, a Japanese kitchen appliance manufacturer, teamed up to create the world's first hydrogen-powered stone oven that uses technology originally developed for the Toyota Mirai. Not a fan of pizza? No problem! They also developed a hydrogen-burning barbecue. 🍖 According to Toyota, cooking with hydrogen makes food taste better. Don't cancel your dinner reservations quite yet, though, as a release date hasn't been announced. Sooner rather than later, we hope! #Innovation #Grilling #H2 #FoodTech #GrillMaster https://lnkd.in/ePRhvGgx

The high temperature at which hydrogen burns (600-1500 degrees Celsius) has complicated creating a combustion engine that runs on 100% hydrogen fuel. A new metal alloy discovered by researchers at the University of Alberta may be a solution to the increased strain those high temperatures put on engine components, paving the way for the H2 engines of tomorrow. #Innovation #H2 #Hydrogen https://lnkd.in/ePuqCVje
