Pepper Financial Strategies is participating in #9Schools with Classroom Central! Many local students face the challenge of starting the school year without essential supplies, making it harder for them to keep up and succeed. Your donations ensure our local kids have the tools they need to thrive academically. Starting Wednesday, July 17, we'll be collecting donations of school supplies to help bridge the educational gap. From backpacks and highlighters to notebooks and pencils, your contribution can make a tremendous impact on a student's confidence in learning. Items can be dropped off at The Horseshoe in South End, located off of Mint St & Summit Ave anytime after 12pm. This week has been filled with volunteering! I love that CertaPro Painters of Salisbury/Concord/Gastonia and Charlotte/Matthews encourages giving back to the community and I'm grateful for organizations like BOMA Greater Charlotte and CREW Charlotte that coordinate these awesome events! BOMA Greater Charlotte coordinated volunteering at Classroom Central yesterday where we packed 275 backpacks to be given to children in need. Today, CREW Charlotte coordinated volunteering at Safe Alliance where we prepared and served lunch to women that live at their domestic violence shelter.

Today, I had the amazing opportunity to attend a Show and Tell event for Classroom Central, where I am currently interning in the communications and marketing department! 🎉 Although I received a lot of information during my onboarding, the Show and Tell provided a more memorable and insightful perspective on why Classroom Central does what it does. I highly recommend anyone curious about this incredible non-profit to attend one of these events and see the impact firsthand !
