    Western suburbs of Des Moines - full-time Mid to Senior level Data Engineering opportunity! Must be able to be onsite 3 days per week for this employer. We are looking for someone who has strong ETL, SQL, and Data Warehousing experience.  This employer will provide training and certification on their cloud product. If you have any exposure to any Azure cloud tools, that would be a plus.  We are looking for someone who enjoys mentoring.     Application Development leadership role! Full-time, on-site three days per week.     New Des Moines Opportunity! Hybrid - three days per week in the office in the western burbs. IT Manager over a financial services application development team! Full-time, direct hire for a development team that consists of two devs, two QA, a scrum master, an architect, and a BA. They'd love someone who was a developer at some point (comfortable doing code reviews). This Scrum team built and supports a product that sends out a couple of million pieces of communication annually (JSP, .NET, SQL). Qualifications for this role include someone who came up through application development and has five years of leadership experience (exp w/ hiring, mentoring, reviews, terminations, etc.). Need to be comfortable within a scrum environment, and able to oversee solution design and implementation. Experience working with business decision-makers to make sure the product aligns with the business needs/goals. Direct team(s) and projects providing leadership including keeping abreast of deployments, testing, business sign-offs, and guidance when it comes to troubleshooting production defects to find resolutions. They would also like financial services experience. This role is a manager, but this is a good-sized IT shop so there should be growth opportunities down the road for the right person, the next step up is Director. You must have prior management experience to be considered for this role. Base comp is approximately 135K (maybe a smidge more for someone perfect) a bonus and a lucrative retirement contribution with a quick vest. Annually these three equal approximately 169K. Those skills include a great data background including ETL, design, development, testing, data optimization, and data security.  Experience with data pipelines in a cloud-based infrastructure.  Our client is going with Azure, but they are open to other cloud experiences.  These positions will be integral to managing scalable data pipelines, ensuring secure data storage, and optimizing data workflows for efficiency and performance.  We also need someone with Confluent-hosted Kafka experience. Our client is looking for candidates who are not only technically skilled but also demonstrate independent thinking, collaboration, adaptability, and a passion for learning in a dynamic environment.     New full-time, direct hire role! Hybrid, western burbs, working three days in the office, and two days remotely. NO C2C.  Our client is unable to consider anyone requiring any sponsorship now or in the future. We are working with a local client to help them find a senior technical go-to person. This role will be similar to an architect, with a wide variety of responsibilities (it's not a sweatshop). Once acclimated this senior engineer will be tasked with understanding their technical ecosystem.  This will include integrations, creating proof of concepts, future road map planning, and problem-solving. The team is responsible for financial systems that are a mix of Microsoft technologies, some Java as well as packaged solutions (some cloud-based). The engineer will be part of the leadership team, serving as the Director's highest-level technical person.  You'll enjoy technical strategy, road mapping, and finding ways to utilize current tech functionality.  Good communication skills and an ability to professionally explain technical jargon are a must to meet with the business when there needs to be a complex tech conversation. From a strategic position - figuring out guardrails and then handing plans over to developers, as well as coaching/mentoring. As far as hands-on there will be minimal day-to-day coding (if they need all hands on deck, you could spend 20% of your time coding).  When they run into something tricky, this person will be the one spearheading how to figure it out. The first few months will be spent learning about their technical environment.  Getting acclimated with the team, and the different applications, meeting with key players on the team as well as infrastructure and security. The hiring manager isn't a micro-manager, they'll be there for whatever you need, but they are looking for someone comfortable being autonomous.  They are immature in their cloud presence. Some of their vendor's applications are cloud-based so this engineer will need to know enough to learn how their on-prem applications integrate with their packaged solutions. You can go on the cloud journey with them. We aren't hung up on specific industry experience BUT an understanding of complex systems IS A MUST HAVE - experience working with multiple systems - not single-threaded. Someone who has the experience to put together how one system talks to another, as well as the role that security and infrastructure play.   How their on-prem integrates with their cloud solutions, etc. If you are ten-plus years out of college having spent your career moving up the ranks of coding, working in complex technical environments, and would like to have your own little technical kingdom, this could be a great opportunity for you!  Along with great benefits AND work/life balance, our client offers a competitive salary for this role between 140 to 155K (w2).     We have a new full-time - DIRECT-hire opportunity. No C2C, OPT, or Contract W-2. We are looking for someone anywhere IN Iowa who wants to be fully remote for a greenfield development opportunity! We need someone who LOVES coding with experience as a .Net Web Application Developer for our start-up client! The tech stack will be ASP.NET, MVC 5, C#, Javascript, JSS, HTML, and SQL. The person who will enjoy this role prefers front-end work, which is the primary focus, but is open to some full-stack. They do daily standups (all of their people are remote) which is a nice mix of work/team building. It's a smaller company so the benefits aren't where our larger employers are but some of that could be made up with compensation. Looking for someone 5 to 8 years out of school - up to 120K per year (potentially more for the right person or to make up for benefits) all to work from the comfort of your home. They are also open to someone who lives here, but enjoys travel and is willing/able to work from where the wind takes them on their adventures.     Our client in the western burbs of Des Moines has a need for a full-time direct hire well-rounded IT administrator to support their customers who rely on them for network and systems administration. We are looking for someone who's been the admin for a medium-sized environment (I'd define this as a school district, medical practice, good-sized law firm, small manufacturer, etc.) where you have been the go-to person, but you'd love more variety! Our client provides the experts to support technical environments for small to medium businesses.  In this role, you'll have clients where you will be their trusted advisor.  You will provide technical consultation for these clients to ensure reliability on network equipment, creating documentation to analyze and support their environments. This support may be performed remotely (from our client's office) or in person. Customer requests are a mix of support including setting up/implementing software/hardware maintenance, and/or updates to firmware, drivers, and operating systems. You need a well-rounded background supporting PC's, Windows/Exchange Servers, Storage, LAN/WAN/firewall and backups. The person who will enjoy this role will be a good communicator who enjoys problem-solving.  When problems escalate you'll use these skills to keep all the appropriate people (internal and external) in the loop! This isn't entry-level, we need someone with a few years of experience. Initially, you'd work in the office three days per week but once acclimated then you can go in for two. They have flexible starting hours and are a family-friendly environment. The nice thing about this company is that they have a small company feel with big company benefits, which include a 401K match and an additional contribution totaling 9%, as well as an annual cash bonus.
