👩🏻🔬Our Eurekan “STEMinist” summer camp participants took on the Cummins “Fuel Cell Challenge” and had a blast!💥On day 1 the group learned the science behind fuel cells, how they work and each group worked together to build their own cell. Day 2 concluded with the participants assembling their own cars, attaching the fuel cells they built, and a race to see whose car could go the furthest.🏎️💨 Congratulations to team “Year 3 Turbos” for taking home the win! 🏁🏆🌟 Thank you to the Cummins Inc. team for this incredible hands-on STEM learning experience! 🧪🧬💡 #EurekaProgram #STEM #FuelCellChallenge #Cummins #GirlsIncIndy

🌞This summer at Discovery Camp, Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis held an election to bring awareness to our participants and help them understand civic engagement's importance and how elections work. Our campers were hands-on with creating campaigns, candidate posters, participating in debates, and having an election for two sets of Presidents and Vice Presidents of Discovery Camp. The Presidents and Vice President of the Cutie Pops and Bold Barbies, sat down for a fireside chat with our President and CEO Lindsay Gramlich, to discuss the joys and challenges of holding an elected position during the last week of camp. 🇺🇸 “She Votes” is an educational, nonpartisan Girls Inc. initiative that supports girls of all ages to gain the skills and confidence to be future voters, candidates, and political leaders. Girls learn how legislators make decisions at all levels of government and how those decisions impact girls’ lives. By highlighting the importance of women in politics our girls can strive to become emerging leaders and advocates within their communities. 🎉Cheers to more and more girls every day gaining confidence and understanding around our electoral process and seeing themselves become voters, community leaders, and elected officials! 😍Check out this cute candid interview with the President & VP. President of the Cutie Pops & Bold Barbies parties, hosted by Girls Inc. Indy President & CEO Lindsay Gramlich. https://lnkd.in/g88ED89E #SheVotes2024 #StrongSmartBold #GirlsIncIndy

Thanks to their generous donation, participants at all three of our summer camps received brand-new shoes, ensuring that every girl could step into the season with confidence and pride.👟💪 The excitement reached its peak during a special “Shoe Drop” event, which featured a surprise visit from one of our favorite mascots. 🏀😺 We extend our heartfelt thanks to New Shoe Day and Casey Crouse for the generosity and support. Their contribution has made a significant impact on the lives of our girls, and we are deeply grateful.🙏♥️ For more information about New Shoe Day and their inspiring work, please visit their website at newshoeday.org. 🏈 The Indianapolis Colts and Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis hosted a flag football clinic this week for 50 of our Summer Camp girls! 🎉 Colts Football Development staff, Colts Cheerleaders, instructors from USA Football, and flag football coaches conducted a series of drills designed to teach the basics of the game and introduce the game to new generations of young people, especially girls who traditionally have not had the same opportunities to learn and play the game as boys do. Watching our girls learn about the sport, run drills, and make a few cameos on the local news stations sharing their excitement about the day was so fun! 🌟Thank you to the Colts organization for supporting our mission and helping build our participant's confidence through hands-on programs! 🏈♥️ #GirlsInSports #FlagFootball #GirlsIncIndy #fortheshoe
