COCC is looking for an Application Trainer to join our team and support our innovative iBanking platform. This individual will be responsible for the development and delivery of quality product training to COCC’s internal staff and Financial Institutions.

What You’ll Do…

  • Develop and deliver training programs with supporting documentation and materials to enhance product and system functionality knowledge
  • Support internal needs for training new employees
  • Provide onsite training programs to clients
  • Assist clients in creating training programs for their staff
  • Research and learn how to use various tools to deliver quality presentation approaches. This includes virtual/remote training or webex, and computer based training
  • Translate and explain technical information, concepts and requirements in user friendly language
  • Learns new system features, version upgrades and new releases
  • Update internal training programs as products and services are modified
  • Participate in internal training program as needed
  • Attend industry training programs, technical training classes and other educational programs
  • Enhance product knowledge and system functionality, cross train in other applications and perform self-learning exercises by use of the training lab and/or bank test databases
  • Provide clients with best practices and consultation to best utilize system functionality
  • Provide system demonstrations to prospects or existing clients
  • Provide support or assistance with institution conversions

What You’ll Bring…

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred for this role but will consider appropriate work experience and/or relevant certifications
  • Training certification preferred
  • At least one year experience designing and delivering creative training programs
  • Banking experience required
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management both verbally and in writing
  • Excellent customer service and presentation skills
  • Ability to maintain composure when dealing with dissatisfied clients
  • Ability to project COCC’s quality image to clients and others
  • Ability to demonstrate or explain concepts, procedures and tasks to others
  • Proficient in system applications
  • Ability to understand and communicate system functionality
  • Experience with any of the following financial systems is highly preferred; COCC Insight System or FISERV Platform (OSI)
  • Position requires 50% + travel (CT, MA, NY, PA, NJ, OH)

Salary Range for this role is $61,200-$96,900 per year
