Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What Your Day-to-day Will Be Like
- Partake in planning and execution of the communication strategy
- Direct methodologies by which the objectives for the business will be accomplished
- Utilize appropriate technology platforms (Salesforce) to develop and maintain customer database, pertinent sales information and produce regular sales reports
- Implement and maintain systems to collect market data producing sales leads
- Ensure business plan and goals are being followed and achieved, providing feedback or revising the plan
- Monitor and manage return on invested capital, time resources and budget
- Collaborate with customer engagement and account management to ensure upcoming contract signings can be implemented and customer needs will be met
- Help manage data collection for competitive analysis and prepare to share the information promptly
- Manage customer relationships, engaging them in value-added activities
- Ability to understand, present and explain complex purchasing programs to customers in sales presentations
- Represent the department at multiple conferences and trade shows, collect new leads and establish potential new customer relationships
You Have These Minimum Qualifications
- Seven (7) years of work experience in Sales and/or Supply Chain Operations
- Four (4) years experience presenting to customers
- Travel up to 40%
- BA/BS Bachelor's Degree or Masters Degree
- Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects
- Supply chain sales experience
- Salesforce.com experience
- Knowledge of hospitality supply chain management
