The Director of Operations will lead our operations team and drive operational excellence across the organization. In this critical role, you will be responsible for optimizing processes, systems and supply chain to maximize efficiency and profitability. The Director of Operations will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Strategy
Develop and execute the overall operations strategy aligned with company goals
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions
Lead major operational initiatives and change management efforts
Team Leadership
Hire, train and manage a high-performing operations team
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and excellence
Provide coaching and mentorship to develop team capabilities
Process Optimization
Analyze current processes and KPIs to identify gaps and inefficiencies
Streamline workflows and automate manual processes where possible
Establish and monitor metrics to measure operational performance
Supply Chain Management
Manage relationships with suppliers and supply chain partners
Optimize inventory management and demand planning processes
Ensure on-time delivery and order fulfillment to meet customer expectations
Financial Management
Develop and manage the operations budget and forecast
Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement expense controls
Provide financial analyses and reports to leadership
Qualifications
7-10 years of progressive operations experience, preferably in e-commerce/tech
Proven track record of driving operational efficiency and excellence
Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making ability
Experience with supply chain management and process improvement
Excellent project management and change management skills
Strong people management and leadership skills
Exceptional communication, collaboration and influencing skills
Bachelor's degree required, MBA or advanced degree preferred
