Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as the Head Equipment Manager for the Youngstown Phantoms Hockey team, located in Youngstown, OH. As the Head Equipment Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all equipment-related activities, including inventory management, maintenance, and repairs. You will work closely with players, coaches, and team staff to ensure that all equipment is in excellent condition for practices and games.
Qualifications
Previous experience as an Equipment Manager in a professional or collegiate sports setting
Strong knowledge of hockey equipment, including skates, sticks, and protective gear
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the team's schedule
