Senior Process Mechanical Estimator

Job Description

Saylor Consulting Group (SCG) is looking for a Fully Remote, As Needed Senior Process Mechanical Estimator with Water/Wastewater Experience to join our water/wastewater team to work on high profile, $20 million to $1 billion programs with various California water infrastructure agencies. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of estimating experience on water and utility infrastructure projects. Prior experience working on California water agency projects is a plus.

Daily Duties

• Prepare accurate construction and project cost estimates from conceptual design through project close out.
• Excellent take off skills with OST, Bluebeam, Timberline, Revit or similar software.
• Proficient with Google suite and MS office.
• Construction phase, change order, estimating and negotiation.
• Value engineering.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering and/or Construction Management or related field desired
• 10-15+ years of related experience estimating water/wastewater projects (water/wastewater treatment capital improvement projects, pump stations, dams, pipelines, and so on) with values of $100 Million or more.
• Excellent MS Excel skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with fellow estimators, architects, engineers, and owners
• Accredited CPE, P.Q.S., RICS, or AACE accreditation preferable.
