Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support the executive leadership team in the formulation and execution of strategies and growth initiatives.
  • Provide financial & analytical modeling, detailed due diligence, and strategic support for evaluating potential M&A candidates, joint venture partners, and business development growth initiatives.
  • Perform and assist financial modeling and analysis for potential transactions using valuation techniques.
  • Perform due diligence, prepare presentations for senior management, and coordinate with senior executives to support and execute transactions.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to meet business development & commercial needs, including but not limited to identifying potential business opportunities (e.g., mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships) & producing trends & market data to support engagement & communication with clients (e.g., competitive intelligence, industry trends)
  • Develop business cases and presentations to support deal recommendations and present findings to senior management.
  • Monitor and analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to identify emerging opportunities or threats.
  • Build a market landscape analysis factoring in market factors, competition, and technology.
  • Participate in strategic planning processes to align corporate development initiatives with overall business goals.
  • Respond to requests for trend and market data to support engagement and communication with clients.
  • Support marketing initiatives, which include assisting with content creation and market research to support thought leadership, as well as providing publication data support.
  • Provide regular and ad-hoc reports to the executive leadership team.
  • Perform in depth research to identify and analyze new business opportunities.
  • Manage multiple projects from end-to-end independently; communicate recommendations and drive outcomes with various stakeholders.
  • Assist in post-merger integration via a PMO role.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis at the request of senior executives.

Requirements + Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in a strategic services role (investment bank, strategy consulting, venture capital, corporate strategy, Big Four accounting).
  • Strong financial analysis and modeling skills, with a solid understanding of valuation techniques and financial statements.
  • In-depth knowledge of M&A and corporate finance principles, including due diligence, integration planning, and post-merger integration.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent and advanced analytical and critical thinking skills combined with a practical, quantifiable, and structured approach to problem solving.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas and analysis to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Superior attention to detail and problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively on a team and on a stand-alone basis.
  • Ability to develop collaborative rapport with divisional executives and teams.
  • Advanced MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Visio) computer skills as well as working knowledge of database management (Microsoft Access)
