As the sun sets along the canals of Amsterdam, and the posters and hoardings are being slowly dismantled, one simply is left to ponder on the experiences of the first HLTH Europe. After 6 years of building the conference underneath the starry lights of the broadway of temptation, and then to the eternal music city, the team, under the tutelage and leadership of Jonathan Weiner have all of the qualities of a crack commando outfit with military precision and delivery with of course that winning and infectious smile. Next, destination Europe. The plentiful digital banners at the port of entry welcomed travellers from near and far. The conference makers adorned by information boards extending to the sky and hanging from their shoulders smilingly directing the attendees to the beach, the coaches, the boats on the canal, the museum, the barbecue or to a concert with a band led by Pete Doherty, whose self confessed underlying metabolic condition could be treated effectively by any of the number of integrated digital health companies. Haircuts to headshots and senses to sensors. There were endless offerings of the most delightful sustenance including fresh ice cream, fresh doughnuts and delicious warm stroopwaffles to plant based nourishment in addition to culinary delights from Italy, US and Mexico. There was an ocean of drink to fill the thirst and reverse the dehydration of any medtech entrepreneur in class 4 hypovolaemic shock. The culinary abundance led to a distinct lack of queues to quench ones thirst enabling the all important connections to be made. Indeed those rich conversations throughout the 4 days posed a potential danger to the vocal cords being continually moved from adduction to abduction. The subsequent, acquired cerebral expansion through knowledge from such colloquies, simply overwhelmed the 86 billion neurones, although rather less in my case as the years go by. The available swag bags with the generous content from unicorns to emollients to augment the protection of melanin would embarrass the most infamous of heists. The stages named after our senses of Sight, Sound, Touch and Aroma adding to the plentiful supply of taste throughout. The subconscious was subtly activated with a concert pianist at the sound stage, flowers surrounding the aroma stage, a stunning helix and visuals on the sight stage and a floorplan representing the human body with the heart very much at its centre. AV teams drilled to perfection with digital background visuals that blended well in a city infused with the timeless analogue creations of Van Gogh, Rembrandt and Vermeer. Speakers from Knights of the Orange Realm to innovators with the spark of Einstein. Quality and Quantity were not mutually exclusive. Inclusivity and civility were front and centre. If the best conference is all about the individual and collective experiences, then HLTH Europe just about ticked every box. Well done to the whole team. Amsterdam 2025? You bet!

We can attest to all of the above ⬆️ #AMS was a great choice for first EVER HLTH Europe - setting up high expectations for any conference attendees: “There was an ocean of drink to fill the thirst and reverse the dehydration of any medtech entrepreneur in class 4 hypovolaemic shock.🫢 The culinary abundance led to a distinct lack of queues to quench ones thirst enabling the all important connections to be made. ✅ and endless ☕️ 🥂”
