This is the post that made me cringe (blacked out the poster’s info since employees are just the messengers). This is not a freelance position. It requires fixed hours. It requires 35 hours a week. That is a full-time commitment. I don’t know how this could possibly pass the employee classification tests. Worse, the pay is low. Considering that a freelancer has to pay their own taxes and benefits, it’s closer to $15 to $20 and hour. And if you’re a professional writer, you deserve better than that. Companies, do better.
