The next color of the #PrideFlag 🏳️🌈 is brown, which represents inclusivity. 🤎   Marsha P. Johnson (1945-1992) was an outspoken LGBTQ+ rights activist and advocate for transgender people of color like herself.    Marsha found joy as a drag queen in New York City’s LGBTQ+ hub, Greenwich Village, and was a key figure in the 1969 Stonewall Riots. She worked with Sylvia Rivera to establish Street Transvestite Action Revolutionaries (STAR); a group committed to helping transgender youth in New York City.   In the 1980s, Johnson’s activism grew to include the AIDS epidemic as she joined Act Up, a prominent organization dedicated to the cause.    Learn more about Marsha at https://lnkd.in/eU7x9ZzP

Marsha was a gay man and a drag queen, not transgender. He's on video interview confirming this. Please don't erase gay people from our own history.
