This International Women’s Day, we acknowledge the important role technology plays in creating a more equitable future. 💻 This week, Compass Digital and Compass Technology’s Women in Tech Group hosted their first-ever events to celebrate Women’s History Month. Included was a panel hosted in person and virtually for our associates. Our speakers, hosted by Colleen Alden, VP of Corporate Human Resources, spoke about obstacles that affect women in the workplace, how we can help combat these, and how their personal and professional experiences inspired their passion for supporting WIT. WIT’s mission is to illuminate the path for women in STEM, nurturing an environment of growth, inclusivity, and opportunity. We are committed to bridging the gender gap in technology through networking, mentoring, educational, and advocacy initiatives. We thank everyone who attended the session. In December, associates from Healthcare Digital, Compass Digital, and Compass Technology met for the inaugural Women in Tech (WIT) networking breakfast. Special thanks to our own Saima Khan for helping host and facilitate this initiative!
This week marks a milestone for Compass Digital and Compass Technology as we celebrated the launch of our newest Employee Resource Group - WIT (Women In Technology). Our teams are spread far and wide, so we held sessions in Charlotte, NC, Toronto, Ontario, and virtually, allowing our associates across North America to connect seamlessly. 🔗 More than 100 women & allies joined in for a morning filled with networking, fun, and inspiring conversations, marking the first of many events under WIT's banner. Our aim with WIT is to illuminate the path for women in STEM, nurturing an environment of growth, inclusivity, and opportunity.
