Carlos Correa and Jose Miranda, Twins

An MRI revealed that Correa has plantar fasciitis in his right foot. He dealt with the same injury in the other foot last year, though this case isn't believed to be as severe. The shortstop was out of the lineup Saturday and Sunday.

Miranda (low back strain) was placed on the 10-day IL on Sunday, retroactive to Thursday. More >

Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Mookie Betts, Clayton Kershaw and Dustin May, Dodgers

Yamamoto (right rotator cuff strain) has been transferred to the 60-day injured list, which means the earliest he can return is Aug. 15.

According to manager Dave Roberts, Betts (left hand fracture) has been taking shallow, short ground balls.

Kershaw (left shoulder surgery) threw three scoreless innings in a rehab start with Triple-A Oklahoma City on Saturday. More >

May, who has been rehabbing from surgery to repair a right flexor tendon tear, will miss the 2024 season following a procedure to repair an esophageal tear. More >

Giancarlo Stanton and Jose Trevino, Yankees

Stanton (left hamstring strain) is continuing to ramp up exercises, and though he won’t be ready for the first game out of the All-Star break on Friday, manager Aaron Boone said Stanton should be “really close at that point.”

Trevino was placed on the 10-day IL on Saturday with a left quad strain. More >

Justin Verlander, Luis Garcia and Kyle Tucker, Astros

Verlander (neck stiffness) threw all of his pitches in a 25-pitch bullpen session Sunday.

Garcia (Tommy John surgery) will stay in Houston over the All-Star break and is expected to throw a bullpen session, per manager Joe Espada on Sunday.

Tucker (right shin contusion) returned to the field in recent days to play catch with his teammates and has been hitting in the batting cages and running on a treadmill for more than a week. He hopes to return soon after the All-Star break. More >

J.T. Realmuto and Ranger Suárez, Phillies

Realmuto (right knee surgery) is progressing well, but poor weather in recent days has curtailed his plans to do pregame work on the field. Perhaps it explains why manager Rob Thomson said on Sunday that Realmuto probably will not be activated from the IL on Friday in Pittsburgh, the Phillies’ first game after the All-Star break.

The Phillies announced on Saturday that Suárez will miss the All-Star Game after dealing with some low back spasms following his loss against the A’s on Friday. More >

Heston Kjerstad, Orioles

Kjerstad has been placed on the 7-day concussion IL. The outfielder was scratched from Saturday's lineup after being hit in the helmet by a pitch during the ninth inning on Friday. More >

Joe Musgrove, Padres

Musgrove (right elbow inflammation) is scheduled to throw his first bullpen session Wednesday. He will then travel with the team on its three-city road trip, with the plan to continue throwing bullpen sessions, increasing in intensity. More >

MJ Melendez, Royals

Melendez was placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday (retroactive to Monday) with a left ankle sprain. More >

Mark Canha and Javier Báez, Tigers

Canha (right wrist soreness) and Báez (low back stiffness) were both out of the lineup Sunday. More >

Matthew Boyd, Guardians

Boyd has begun throwing again after undergoing Tommy John surgery one year ago. He hasn't seen competitive game action just yet, but that could change soon. More >

Bo Bichette and Yimi García, Blue Jays

An MRI revealed that Bichette's right calf fascia strain slightly differs from the standard calf strain that landed him on the IL for 10 days in June, but it is in a similar area. The Blue Jays aren't making an IL move yet, but manager John Schneider reiterated on Friday that Bichette will continue to be evaluated daily and the team will “go from there.”

García (right ulnar nerve neuritis) was initially scheduled to throw with Triple-A Buffalo on Tuesday, but he had a stiff neck, so the Blue Jays chose to push that back a day. His neck remained stiff Wednesday and Thursday, but he finally appeared with the Bisons on Friday, allowing two earned runs and two hits in two-thirds of an inning. More >

Josh Jung, Rangers

Jung (right wrist fracture) took 15 swings with a regular bat off a tee on Sunday. Manager Bruce Bochy said that Jung will continue to ramp up during the All-Star break. More >

Michael Soroka, White Sox

Soroka exited Sunday's relief appearance early due to right shoulder soreness. More >

TJ Friedl and Stuart Fairchild, Reds

Friedl (right hamstring strain) and Fairchild (spinal disc injury) are scheduled to head to the team’s complex in Goodyear, Ariz., for the All-Star break so they can continue to progress with baseball activities and get at-bats. More >

Michael Siani, Cardinals

Siani left Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader against the Cubs with a left elbow contusion after being hit by a pitch in the first inning and was out of the lineup for Game 2. He remained out Sunday. More >

Chris Martin, Triston Casas and Justin Slaten, Red Sox

Manager Alex Cora said on Saturday that Martin (right elbow inflammation) "didn't feel great" after playing catch the day prior and he will be delayed in his return.

Casas (torn cartilage in left rib cage) progressed to taking soft toss and hitting off a tee on Friday.

Slaten was placed on the 15-day IL Friday, retroactive to Tuesday, with right elbow inflammation. The club is currently treating the stint as a "brief break" after he struggled to bounce back after his last outing on July 7. More >

Luis Medina, Athletics

The Athletics placed Medina on the 15-day injured list with a right elbow sprain, and manager Mark Kotsay said that he expects the 25-year-old flamethrower to miss “significant” time. More >

Drew Rasmussen, Rays

Rasmussen (right flexor strain) was scheduled to throw one more live batting practice session on Saturday before he expects to begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Durham after the All-Star break. More >
