Project Summary
Established in 2009, TxIT is a global liquid and dry bulk multi-modal facility for deep draft vessels, unit trains, manifest rail, barges, and trucking along the Galveston Ship Channel.
From 2010-2016, SLS served as the Prime Contractor managing specialty sub-contractors and site, levee and concrete construction crews for the upgrade and expansion of the major marine terminal industrial site development.
Projects included a variety of horizontal and vertical design-build construction projects, requiring significant site stabilization, drainage, utility infrastructure and concrete work.
