Afin d’accroitre l'accès au financement pour les petites et moyennes entreprises (PME) en Côte d'Ivoire et au Sénégal, en particulier pour celles détenues et dirigées par des femmes, IFC - Société financière internationale est fière de s’associer avec BRIDGE BANK GROUP Côte d'Ivoire (BBGCI). Dans le cadre d’un mécanisme de partage des risques d’un montant total allant jusqu’à 40 millions de dollars en équivalent francs CFA, IFC garantira 50 % d’un portefeuille de prêts à court terme éligibles octroyés par BBGCI à des PME en Côte d'Ivoire et au Sénégal. Le financement permettra à la banque d'accorder près de 2100 prêts supplémentaires aux PME d'ici à 2028, fournissant à ces entreprises les moyens pour se développer et créer plus d'emplois. Au moins 30 % du montant cumulé des prêts décaissés au titre de la facilité seront réservés aux PME détenues et dirigées par des femmes. « Aider les petites entreprises à accéder au financement est l'un des meilleurs moyens pour les aider à croître et à créer des emplois.
