We are seeking an Estimator/Planner to be responsible for developing cost estimates to support our ongoing ship repair contracts with DoD and commercial customers. The Estimator/Planner works closely with all departments to identify the amount of material and manpower needed to perform ship repair availabilities.
Estimator Responsibilities
Prepare comprehensive cost estimates and technical proposals
Ability to read detailed drawings, specifications, and technical manuals
Engage in PSI’s collaborative estimating process and bid reviews.
Attend ship checks.
Participate in business development.
Strong team player with on-site work hours required.
Estimator Position Requirements
Must be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) and a Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) Credential
All candidates must pass a post-offer drug screening and background check
Valid State of Hawaii drivers' license in good standing
Candidates must have access to reliable transportation
