615 Ventures is a Nashville-based investment firm that creates value through the acquisition and management of commercial real estate nationwide. 615 Ventures manages retail, office, industrial, SNTL and residential assets across seven U.S. markets. In addition to our commercial real estate efforts, we also evaluate company acquisitions primarily in the greater Nashville, TN area.

The opportunity

615 Ventures is currently seeking a full-time Development Manager to join our commercial real estate team.

As our in-house development expert, the Development Manager, you will support our growth and expansion by spearheading our commercial real estate development projects, from initial feasibility analysis to project completion and closeout. In this role, you will be responsible for managing budgets, schedules, and resources, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You should have direct experience in commercial real estate development and/or construction. You should be detail-oriented and an expert in communication and presentation skills to internal and external stakeholders.

Location: Nashville, TN On-Site

What you'll do

  • Lead development process for commercial real estate projects, from initial feasibility to project completion
  • Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and risk assessments
  • Manage project scope, ensuring deliverables meet project budget and timeline goals
  • Work with local authorities through the entitlement process
  • Manage project teams including engineers, architects, contractors, lenders, attorneys, partners, and principals
  • Provide clear and efficient updates to principal and senior management
  • Conduct market research and feasibility studies for potential projects, with assistance from the acquisitions team

Who you are

  • Effective time management and project management skills
  • Competency in analyzing construction and engineering plans and identifying inefficiencies
  • Efficient research skills to assist in feasibility studies in multiple markets are critical
  • Experience in financial modeling and financial acumen
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team-oriented and open to collaboration
  • Solution-oriented and first to take action and initiative
  • Agile professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Construction, Engineering or a business-related discipline
  • 5+ years of full-time work experience in Real Estate Development
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex development projects on time and within budget
  • Valid driver's license

Salary Range

TechnologyAdvice seeks to hire top-tier individuals across the world and intends for our compensation to be at a rate that allows us to recruit and retain individuals who align with our core values, purpose, mission, and vision.

Final total compensation is based on a multitude of factors including, but not limited to, skill level, relevant experience to the position, and cost of labor.

Annual pay range

$80,000—$120,000 USD
