The Senior Cost Estimator prepares cost estimates for product manufacturing, construction projects, or engineering services to aid management in bidding on or determining the price of a product or service.
The ideal candidate will use their relevant experience to add value and make a significant impact as a Cost Estimator for one of our Federal Government clients.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
Administer contractor evaluation and source selection for contract award
Manage project execution to ensure adherence to performance, cost, schedule, and deliverables throughout the project's life
Develop and prepare detailed cost estimates by utilizing the knowledge of base cost estimating tools for government sources
Lead, plan, and/or organize process improvement teams to maintain and establish performance quality levels, including accuracy and timeliness of estimates
Key Qualifications and Skills
3-5 years’ experience building a thorough lifecycle cost estimate independently
Bachelor’s degree or a qualifying substitution of 9 years in an engineering, technical, or business discipline
Must be detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated with high attention to detail.
Familiarity of the DoD (Department of Defense), Military Health System and/or the Defense Health Agency is highly desired
