Excited to announce that on June 25th, Real Estate Equities closed on phase two of Decatur Landing, our latest affordable housing project in Brooklyn Park, MN! This follows the closing of the first phase in December 2023, marking significant progress in the development of this essential housing initiative Phase two introduces 175 new residences with one, two, and three-bedroom floor plans, offering affordable housing options at 30%, 60%, and 70% AMI. Residents will enjoy amenities such as a clubroom, fitness center, playground, and dog run. Construction for phase two is scheduled to begin in early July, with plans to welcome residents by December, 2025. Upon completion of both phases, the project will add a total of 350 apartment homes to the Brooklyn Park area, significantly advancing efforts to provide affordable, quality housing. Recently, our leadership team toured our properties in Arizona: Copa Flats in Maricopa and Agave House in Casa Grande. Copa Flats was a big accomplishment for Real Estate Equities as it was our first development and successful lease-up in Arizona. This visit provided valuable opportunities for our leaders to connect with our team on the ground, gain insights into our operations, and engage with our employees firsthand. We extend our gratitude to the Copa Flats Team who played a big part in the success of the lease-up and look forward to opening our doors at Agave House in August 2024.

We are excited to announce that our newest affordable housing project, Agave House, is now leasing! Located in sunny Casa Grande, AZ Agave House is comprised of 216 units where residents can choose from an array of 1, 2, 3, and 4 bedroom affordable apartments. Our partnership with Esusu keeps delivering! 3,757 residents are now reporting positive rental payment histories while 67% have increased their credit scores by an average of 38 points. Our team has been ready for the winter since our December 2023 groundbreaking, but the snow never came! With a clear runway to build, our team is making BIG progress! Developed by Real Estate Equities and designed by Kaas Wilson Architects, Decatur Landing is an affordable housing project that will feature 175 units of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments. Future residents will enjoy the fitness area, clubroom, outdoor play area with grill stations, and a two-story underground parking structure once the project finishes next summer.
