Navigator Lead, serving Lansing Community College
Allen M. Chung is a Michigan Reconnect navigator lead for North, West, Mid and South Michigan and is assigned to advise Reconnectors who have applied to Lansing Community College. Allen has held various roles in higher education - assistant director of admissions, campus director, and enrollment and student services coordinator. He has nearly 10 years of experience in advising, admissions, financial aid, registrar, career and professional development, disability services, and domestic and international student recruitment. During his professional career, Allen served as a business attraction manager for Canada and South Korea and has engendered multi-millions in foreign direct investments (FDI), and created hundreds of jobs for Michiganders. He has also worked as an IT project manager in networking and telecommunication.
Allen is excited to assist Reconnectors with planning to matriculation, professional development, and personal growth, as well as career exploration. He has an associate degree from Lansing Community College, a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from James Madison College at Michigan State University, and a Juris Doctorate from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Allen is married and has two children.
